Drawing in the Park

What better place to learn to draw than in the park? Educator and artist, MaryLeah Marshall, will provide guidance as you develop your drawing skills focusing on line, shape, value, space and texture while using nature and the outdoors as your frame of reference. All levels of drawing are welcome. See website for supply list and location information.

Supply List
• 1 sketch book, (7x10 or larger, 100 pound) - either Strathmore or Fabriano recommended
• Pencils: 2B, 4B, HB, 2H
• Black Sharpie (fine point)
• 1 Kneaded eraser


Class Schedule
• Class 1 and meets at River's Bend Park: 5000 142nd Lane NW, Ramsey MN 55303 *meet by parking lot along the riverside.
• Class 2 meets at Peninsula Point Park: 1460 S Ferry Rd., Anoka, MN 55303.
• Class 3 meets at Bunker Hills Park Activity Center 550 Bunker Lake Blvd NW, Andover, MN 55304.
• Class 4 meets at Akin Riverside Park 1721 River Ave, Anoka, MN 55303 *Meet at shelter facing the river
