Competitive Swim Training

This program is for participants in Middle School, High School, and college. The prerequisite for this program is: participants must be able to swim 50 continuous yards of freestyle and backstroke, 25 yards of breaststroke or passed Level 4.

This program is coached by:

Jamie Law - 32 years coaching high school swimming in MN:

• 8 athletes have earned All-American Honors
• 23 athletes have earned MN All-State Honors
• 7 athletes were MN State Meet Champions
• 10 individual and 1 relay MN State Meet Champions
• 3 athletes competed in Olympic trials

Carole Weiland -

Carole started swimming competitively when she was eight years old and continues to compete with Minnesota Masters Swimming. She currently holds three MN Master's records in the 200 yard breaststroke, the 800 meter freestyle, and the 4X2100 yard medley relay. She is also an active member of the triathlon community and has raced in every distance from sprints to Ironman and has competed in the United States Triathlon National's competitions. Carole has coached countless swimmers through club swimming, YMCA team swimming, and our summer maintenance program. Many of her swimmers have competed at the state level, college level, and national level. She also coached for Coon Rapids High School Girls Swim Team.

The following guidelines will need to be followed in order to participate in the program:

• The participant may enter the pool facility five minutes prior to class.
• Please bring the following: water bottle, googles, kickboard*, and pull buoy*. If you do not have these*, they can be checked out to you for the program duration. Googles and swim caps are available for purchase.

No partial or pro-rated fees for absences/ vacations/ etc.
