Seagrass Basket
Join us to weave this fun rustic bowl basket incorporating lots of thoughtful detail. The midsection showcases a wide variety of texture and color: rows of variegated cinnamon and burgundy twining with a band of braided seagrass adding a warm seasonal vibe. Everyone will go home with a beautiful finished basket. Approximate size: 9.5" x 4". Material fee of $40 due to instructor at class.

Ellie Lida is from Ramsey, MN. She grew up on a farm where everything was natural and organic. Ellie's mother was a tremendous baker; a day never ended without fresh doughnuts, coffeecakes, breads, and pies. Ellie also loves baking and says, “Working in the kitchen is a form of art, especially yeast breads. There is an artist’s spirit in each of us, begging to be released.” An avid basket weaver, Ellie teaches weaving at her home based shop as well as retreats and special interest groups throughout the state. Spare time is spent with family, at the lake, and basket weaving.
