I began making soap when my health dictated a lifestyle change. For me, making soap is a cathartic, artistic outlet that also provides us with a beautiful and useful product. During the day, I work as a biology professor at the College of Saint Benedict & Saint John's University. In the evening, I play the role of a soap-making father.
