American Sign Language I

For adults learning ASL over 5 weeks, a strong structure is built from survival signs, basic conversation, grammar foundations, simple storytelling, and real-world communication practice. Adult learners benefit most from repetition, interactive practice, visual learning, and real-life application. This beginner course is designed to give students a solid foundation in American Sign Language while building confidence and comfort using basic communication with others. This course is designed to be interactive, visual, and practical, giving adult learners a strong foundation before moving into ASL 2.
