Home School PSAT

In an effort to support our home school students in their post-secondary endeavors, the Anoka-Hennepin school district has reserved 25 PSAT tests for 10^th and 11^th grade home schoolers who are interested.

The PSAT/NMSQT is the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. The PSAT is a great primer for the SAT, and even the ACT, but it’s more than just a trial run. PSAT scores are used to identify National Merit Scholars and award merit scholarships.

There is a mandatory digital readiness check on October 5th from 8:00-9:00am (typically takes 20-30 minutes) before the exam that participants must complete, no exceptions.

Once registration is received and processed, no refunds will be issued.

Secondary Technical Education Program (STEP) at 1353 West Highway 10, Anoka MN 55303

To Bring:

#2 pencils and eraser

Scratch paper

An approved 4-function, scientific, or graphing calculator

A valid school- or government-issued photo ID

Email address for results of test

Not Permitted:

Cell phones must be turned off during testing. Please do not bring any other papers or books, as they will not be allowed into the testing area.

If for any reason your student cannot attend testing as planned, please notify the home school office as soon as possible at 763-506-1273. NO REFUNDS will be issued.

If it is the morning of testing and your student will not be there, please call 763-506-1260 and the receptionist will take your message.
