JUDO & MMA BASED

Anoka High School Students can Learn about personal safety and martial arts

Skills Covered:

• Take downs & throws (Judo)
• Grappling (Ju-Jitsu)
• Strikes & blocks (Kickboxing)
• Build self-confidence
• Set boundaries and enforce them
• Conflict de-escalation (Verbal Judo)
• Laws involving self-defense
• Situational awareness

Coach:    Mr. Rowe (MMA, Judo, Japanese Jujutsu, law enforcement)

Mondays after school, 2:30 to 4:30 ending before the activity bus leaves.

Will meet in the wrestling room or in Mr Rowe's room (Room 211)

Dates:   November 2, 2026 to April 12, 2027

• You don’t need to go year-round or to every training.
• You can do other after-school activities and this.
• Get in better shape and have fun; bring a friend to train with. :)

No Uniform: Athletic clothes covering legs and arms.

All skill levels welcome, from newbie to experienced. Increase your personal safety, mental, and physical skills. Bring a friend to train and learn with. Parents are welcome to watch or participate (once registered as a volunteer). The club will be after school at AHS and ends before the activity bus leaves. No fees.
