Paddle and Pose Play
Yoga is meant to be fun and that's why we play with poses to find what works best for you and your body. Practicing on the water adds an extra element of balance/stability, while also having a calming effect. If you're new to paddle boarding you will be taught the basics as we start out and hopefully answer any questions you may have. Since we're just getting comfortable, the poses will be gentle and mostly seated, reclined or on hands and knees.
Wear what's comfortable and what you don't mind getting wet in case you want to (or accidentally) take a dip. Swimsuits (one piece suits can sometimes feel restrictive) & quick-dry workout clothes work best. Bringing a towel is also a good idea. Paddleboards will be available for use.

Eligible UCare members may receive up to a $15 discount on many Community Education classes when registering over the phone. Contact Community Education for further information.
