Celebrate Halloween early! Bring your friends and dance the night away with a live DJ, musical games and prizes and a Costume Party! Come dressed in your halloween costume (school appropriate). Bring your camera and use our backdrops to create your own unique photo shoot (props provided). Price includes one piece of pizza, beverage and cookie. Must be a middle school student that lives within Coon Rapids attending Coon Rapids Middle School or Northdale Middle School. Students must show school ID at the door.

Do you like competitions? Team-up with friends, or make new friends in class, and let the fun begin! There will be multiple types of bakery products like cupcakes, brownies, cookies, and snack cakes to build fantastic creations. You will brainstorm ideas and then apply a base coat of buttercream icing to your cupcake. You will enjoy learning how to use and make an array of edible decorations to create a variety of designs for your masterpiece! Who can make the most unique creation? At the end of the class there will be a competition judged by a secret celebrity judge for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Who will win?

Performance cheer is an athletic event that involves cheering, stunting, tumbling and dancing. The performance cheer squad will participate in an Anoka-Hennepin Schools middle school show at the completion of the season. Student athletes will need black shorts, mostly white tennis shoes and to come to each practice with athletic attire. The district cheer show is Thursday, February 21 at Coon Rapids Middle School at 6:30pm. Parents/Guardians are responsible for transporting students to the district cheer show.

Learn to play the fastest growing sport in America. In this class you will learn all the basics of pickleball while enhancing your fitness through recreational play against peers.

In this ping pong league, players will learn the skills and strategies of ping pong with an emphasis on participation, teamwork and safety. Players practice after school and compete against other Anoka-Hennepin middle schools. Due to enrollment numbers and transportation scheduling, there may be times when parents/guardians will be asked to transport their students. Competitions on Tuesdays: January 26 and February 2 and Thursdays: January 28 and February 4 starting at 4:00pm. NOTE: Parents/guardians will need to pick-up their student after competitions. There will be no return buses to home schools. Ping Pong Tournament Thursday, February 11 at Roosevelt Middle School starting at 6:00pm. Parents/Guardians are responsible for transporting students to the ping pong tournament.

Are you ready to level-up your fitness? In this one-hour class, you will focus on life preparedness, while also learning basic movements and perfecting techniques for push-ups, squats, lunges, and lighter weight use. Training sessions will include smaller group sizes, allowing our trainers to spend more time focusing on you to ensure good form. Please Note: parent transportation is required for this class. This program is designed and run by co-owner and 2019 International Trainer of the Year, Dan Heins of Snap Fitness - Andover.

This Strength and Conditioning program will educate the participants on importance overall fitness. We will learn the proper way to use fitness equipment and design a workout routine to help you reach your personal goals. The training will focus on the areas of strength, speed, agility, mobility and injury prevention. Students need to be self motivated. This class is not for hanging out. We want students who are interested in working hard to reach their goals.
