Gain confidence by learning to repair minor plumbing problems or replace fixtures yourself. We will review metal & plastic pipe, valves and fittings. Take apart different types of faucets, replace pop-up drain assembly, and discuss internal workings of the toilet. There will be a demo on how to cut plastic pipe and solder copper pipe. Learning Spanish enables you to communicate with Spanish-speakers in your community, at work, or when traveling. Classes will explore both the language and culture, and focus on pronunciation, reading comprehension, basic grammar and speaking skills. 102 and 103 classes will help you gain fluency and add new vocabulary. *This class will be a year-round class at the Riverview Early Childhood Center. Priority registration will be given for Winter and Spring 2027. This class is designed for children under age 3. It is mixed age without the four and five-year-olds. Families can have one child or multiple children, but all children need to be under age 3. Activities will include a variety of songs, movement, and stories for the range of ages in this class. Parenting topics will include beginning discipline, gaining independence, and topics chosen by the group. These delicious snacks keep well and are generally low-calorie! We'll make and sample almond biscotti, double chocolate biscotti, and pecan biscotti.
