Elem - Learn to Ride: One Day Horse CampRecreation and GamesKids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas, practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk, trot, and canter (depending on camper's riding experience). They also might make horse treats, learn how to lunge and play games. And don't forget the time to feed and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. All campers need to complete a waiver. (Waiver Link will be in your confirmation e-mail) Camp is held rain or shine, as there is an indoor barn and arena. WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn. No flip flops. Sunscreen/hat/bug spray. Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch. Elem - Pickleball CampRecreation and GamesPickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. This pickleball camp provides participants with introductory experience to the game in a fun and positive atmosphere. Emphasis is on technique and game play. Key elements of serving, returning, volleys, overheads, and lobbing will be taught and practiced. Camp ends with games on the final day. Participants should wear athletic clothes and bring a water bottle. Campers also should bring a pickleball paddle (if you don’t have one, we will provide paddles).
