Elem - Learn to Ride: One Day Horse CampRecreation and GamesKids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas, practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk, trot, and canter (depending on camper's riding experience). They also might make horse treats, learn how to lunge and play games. And don't forget the time to feed and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. All campers need to complete a waiver. (Waiver Link will be in your confirmation e-mail) Camp is held rain or shine, as there is an indoor barn and arena. WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn. No flip flops. Sunscreen/hat/bug spray. Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch.
