This introductory clinic is designed for first-time riders of all ages who have never held a USA BMX membership and want to explore BMX racing. Our expert coaches teach the fundamentals of BMX, bike handling, track safety, and riding techniques in a safe, supportive, small-group environment. BMX race bikes and full-face helmets are provided. • Riders of all ages are welcome but must already be able to ride a pedal bike independently (no training wheels or assistance). • Riders must wear long sleeves, full-length pants, and closed-toe, closed-heel shoes. Extra jerseys are available to borrow if needed. • Check-in is 5:30-5:55 p.m. to complete required waivers and be fitted for a bike and helmet.     NFL YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL – EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE 2026 Fall Leagues - Roosevelt MS in Blaine Regular Leagues for Grades K – 8th (ages 6 to 14).Presented by: YMCA North and Anoka-Hennepin Community Ed AthleticsNFL FLAG FOOTBALL is coming to Anoka-Hennepin Community Education! Join the largest youth flag football organization in the country! This 6 week season held on Sundays is a 5 vs. 5, non-contact, recreational, co-ed format. We try to limit teams to 10-11 players to maximize playing time. This is an exceptional program for first time players who want to learn the fundamentals of football. This is also a wonderful opportunity for players who want to continue enhancing their skills before taking the next leap into tackle football. Games will take place between 9:00am - 7:00pm on Sundays (subject to change). Exact schedules will be created and posted 1-2 weeks prior to the season start date. Younger divisions typically play earlier in the day while the older divisions typically play later. Practices take place one hour prior to game time each week to ensure a convenient and fun experience for all! Participants will receive an NFL reversible jersey and flag belt, theirs to keep! There are no try-outs! Everyone participates! Our program relies on volunteer parents to coach our teams! We encourage all parents interested in volunteering to do so during the registration process. We will provide several resources along with a comprehensive coaches meeting to ensure all coaches have a fun and successful season! Registration here will close at 11:59pm on Friday September 25th. These are Ozone brand leotards, which run about 1.5 sizes smaller than the also popular, GK brand.     Does your child love to sing? We are excited to announce that the Brookside Storm Choir is looking for enthusiastic singers to join us! As a choir member your son or daughter will learn how to make beautiful music with their voice; as well as learn breathing techniques, how to read choral music and make lasting friendships. Our musical journey will culminate in an evening concert, where family and friends are invited to join us as we share the beautiful music we have learned. On the last day of class, students will stay after school to practice, enjoy a pizza dinner and stay through our evening performance. Class registration includes a t-shirt that students will wear for the concert. Due to the limited spots available, we ask you to only sign your child up if they are available to perform in the concert.
