 dren experience differently than adults. The information shared in this cou
 rse can help improve adjustments during this transition and give parents th
 e tools to minimize stress for themselves and their children.\n\nParticipat
 ing in a Parents Forever course will help caregivers:\n\n \n- Describe the 
 family transition journey and how each family member will be affected.\n\n-
  Recognize the role of self-care\, parent-child relationships\, and co-pare
 nting in child well-being.\n\n- Identify and learn how to use resources and
  strategies that promote resilience for all involved.\n\n \n\nParents Forev
 er courses have been approved by the Minnesota Supreme Court. This series m
 eets all 25 minimum standards required by Minnesota Statute 518.157 when pa
 rents attend all four 2-hour sessions. Parents Forever classes were develop
 ed by the University of Minnesota Extension as an educational program for p
 arents of children ages birth through 18 who are going through a divorce or
  separation. \n\nThis course is intended for one adult per family. If the o
 ther parent is interested in participating\, we recommend enrolling in the 
 Spring 2027 session. Childcare is available\, questions regarding this will
  be asked in the enrollment questions.
