Summer - Youth Level 6 - Ages 5+Youth (Ages 5-17)Purpose: Swimming and skill proficiency for strong swimmers. Refine strokes so students swim them with more ease, efficiency, power and smoothness over greater distances. Prerequisites: Students entering this level must possess a Level 5 certificate OR Demonstrate all the Level 5 skills Learning Objectives: Front crawl and elementary backstroke (100 yards) Back crawl, breaststroke, sidestroke, and butterfly (50 yards) Front and back crawl open turn AND flip turn while swimming Sidestroke, butterfly, and breaststroke turns while swimming HELP position (2 minutes) Huddle position (2 minutes) Feet first, tuck, and pike surface dive Back float (5 minutes) Survival float (5 minutes) Survival swimming (10 minutes) Treading water, kicking only (2 minutes) Surface dive and retrieve an object from the bottom (7-10 feet depth) Learn how to respond in dangerous aquatic situations to remain safe Learn about avoiding swimming on your own Learn about staying safe on and around boats Certification Requirements: Demonstrate proficiency in all required skills and activities, including in-water skills Successfully complete the following exit skills assessment: Swim 500 yards continuously using any 3 strokes of your choice, swimming at least 50 yards of each stroke Jump into deep water, perform a survival float for 5 minutes, roll onto back and perform a back float for 5 minutes Perform a feet first surface dive, retrieve an object from the bottom of the pool at a depth of 7-10 feet, return to surfaceAquatics - Summer 2026

Sunrise Summer 2026 Serving SunriseAdventures PlusStudents must be enrolled and attending in the Anoka-Hennepin independent school district in order to receive Adventures Plus child care services. (We do not offer care to out-of-district students in our program. This includes families who live within the district boundaries but attend a charter or private school.) The program provides before- and after-school care at elementary schools during the school year, and school year schedule must remain consistent from week to week for the duration of your contract. All-day child care during the summer months at select school sites for students entering kindergarten through grade six in the upcoming school year, summer schedules are pick your day with a 20 day minimum requirement. Current School year 2025-26: registration is open for limited sites that still have some capacity. Most sites have a waiting list status or have closed registration due to the amount of students on the waitlist. If your student's school is not listed please call the billing office if you have questions regarding the 2025-26 School year placement. School year 2026-27 and Summer 2026 Registration Dates: Adventures Plus families (currently attending): Registration opened on Tuesday, FEBRUARY 17, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. Current family priority registration ended on March 11 at midnight. Families new to Adventures Plus: Registration opened on Monday, MARCH 16, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. School year sites and waiting lists will close as they fill to capacity. To search for alternative child care options please visit www.parentaware.org. School Year 2026-27 & Summer 2026 seasons open at the same time and families will register for each season independently based on your family needs for School year and Summer care. Contracts (accepted or pending) do not carry over from season to season or year to year. All families, including waitlisted families, must register annually for any future care. Families new to Adventures Plus that register a contract prior to March 16, will have the submitted pending contract removed and families will need to re-register on March 16, at 6:00 a.m. Registrations received on or after March 16, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. will be processed in the order they are received through our online system, up to the point when the site reaches capacity. Once capacity is reached, a waitlist will be established. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing. In order for a registration to be processed, all program balances must be paid in full. Accounts with an overdue balance will not be processed. For 2025-26 school year rates please email Adventures Plus at adventuresplus@ahschools.us 2026-27 child care rates (all rates subject to change) Adventures Plus school-age care requires a non-refundable registration fee of $35/child (not to exceed $70/per family per season) charged at the time that the contract is accepted. Families are invoiced monthly and payments are due on the first of each month for that month's care. Accounts will receive a late payment fee if balance is not paid on the first. Accounts past due are subject to suspension or withdrawal of contracted care at anytime. AM care Daily Rates Part Time (2-4 days) $15.00 per day per child Full Time (5 days) $11.80 per day per child PM care Daily Rates Part Time (2-4 days) $12.90 per day per child Full Time (5 days) $10.30 per day per child Drop-in care: Only families who are currently enrolled in the Adventures Plus program may add care days that are not regularly scheduled. Drop-in care is offered as space is available at your child's care site, and is subject to site approval. Drop-in days requested for future care will not be approved more than 2 weeks in advance. Drop-in care is intended for occasional use only. To request drop-in care, go to your online account and use the "drop-in" option. (Requests are pending until approved by staff.) Drop In Day Rates AM care $20.00 per day per child PM care $17.90 per day per child Non School days: Adventures Plus offers school-age care from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on most days when school is not in session for families with an approved Adventures Plus school year contract. Selected non-school day rates will be added to your family's monthly billing invoice. Non School day rates Early Registration $47.00 per day per child Late Registration $60.00 per day per child **Non-school day registration for the 26-27 school year opens on September 1, 2026, at 8 a.m. for families with an approved Adventures Plus contract. Upcoming Non School Day Sites for 2026-27 School year care "coming soon" 2026-27 Fee Rate changes All schedule changes are subject to a $35 schedule change fee per contract. All Schedule Changes must be submitted two full weeks in advance. Each schedule change will be assessed a $35 change fee per contract. After a month is invoiced it is deemed closed and will default to the preceding month. If the system entered date is later than your needed request, please email adventuresplus@ahschools.us with required information: 1) your child care account #. 2) site your child attends. 3) LAST date of attendance for current schedule. Without this information your schedule change will be approved as is with the system entered date. No schedule changes will be accepted in the month of September. Withdrawing of Child care contracts, subject to a $35.00 Withdrawal Processing Fee per contract. Online withdrawal is required when a parent/guardian intends to withdraw from Adventures Plus. Fees will continue to be incurred until the effective withdrawal date. Two week notice required. After a month is invoiced it is deemed closed and will default to the preceding month. If the system entered date is later than your needed request, in the Reason for Withdrawal section you must indicate the last date that you would like to attend child care services. This date must be 2 weeks out. Without this information your withdrawal request will be withdrawn "as submitted" with the system entered date. Any School year contract withdrawal requests after the August 15th deadline will be required to pay the first 2 weeks of the school year contract. Registrations are based on the current draft of the district calendar. If at any point the district calendar changes, care options and availability are subject to change as well. 2026 summer child care ratesSummer rates include breakfast, lunch, snack, and planned field trips/events. Adventures Plus school-age care requires a non-refundable registration fee of $35 per child, (not to exceed $70/per family per season) charged at the time that the contract is accepted. Families are invoiced monthly and payments are due on the first of each month for that month's care. Part-time Daily rate: $56.00 per day/per child. (20-35 days) Full-time Daily rate: $45.00 per day/per child. (36 or more days) Summer Daily Hours : all Summer site Locations 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. All rates are subject to change. Summer 2026 schedule changes must be received online by May 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. for the entire summer - June through August (this includes adding and/or dropping days.) After May 1, 2026, no schedule changes will be accepted and families will be billed for the days registered regardless of attendance. Families may not drop below the 20 day minimum. If your contract changes the "rate range" your contract price per day will be adjusted to the new rate. If a withdrawal is needed after the May 1 deadline families will be required to pay the 20 day minimum part time day rate of $1,120.00. plus $35 withdrawal fees for a total of $1,155.00 per contract.
