Adams 26-27Adventures PlusStudents must be enrolled and attending in the Anoka-Hennepin independent school district in order to receive Adventures Plus child care services. (We do not offer care to out-of-district students in our program. This includes families who live within the district boundaries but attend a charter or private school.) The program provides before- and after-school care at elementary schools during the school year, and school year schedule must remain consistent from week to week for the duration of your contract. All-day child care during the summer months at select school sites for students entering kindergarten through grade six in the upcoming school year, summer schedules are pick your day with a 20 day minimum requirement. Current School year 2025-26: registration is open for limited sites that still have some capacity. Most sites have a waiting list status or have closed registration due to the amount of students on the waitlist. If your student's school is not listed please call the billing office if you have questions regarding the 2025-26 School year placement. School year 2026-27 and Summer 2026 Registration Dates: Adventures Plus families (currently attending): Registration opened on Tuesday, FEBRUARY 17, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. Current family priority registration ended on March 11 at midnight. Adaptive BeginnerAquaticsStarting SoonWe do not focus on diagnoses or labels. We teach swimming to students of all ages who are not served successfully by traditional group lessons, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other sensory and physical/motor learning differences. Class sizes are for two. Purpose To begin developing positive attitudes, good swimming habits and safe practices in and around the water. Prerequisites: No skill prerequisites. This class is for students who are beginner swimmers. AdultAnoka-Hennepin Community Education offers learning and enrichment opportunities in the water for adults. Whether you want to learn to swim, improve your stroke technique or burn a few calories, Roosevelt Community Pool provides a variety of lessons, activities and classes for adults to enjoy. Adult aquatic exercise: Take advantage of the unique benefits of water exercise. Adult swimming lessons: Learn to swim - no matter what your age or skill level. Adult Lap Swimming & Water Walking: Keep up a fitness regime. Please note, Anoka-Hennepin Community Education's registration policy is the following: any class cancellations must be done five business days before the class begins and there is a $10 processing fee. If the Anoka-Hennepin School District closes for snow or a cold day, all community education programming is closed for that day too. Ageless YogaYogaAgeless Yoga is perfect for older adults. We will move through seated, standing, traditional and modified yoga poses with additional focus on stretching, flexibility, balance, and restorative breathing promoting stress reduction and relaxation. This class is shoe-and joint-friendly and we do not get down on mats. Dress in comfortable clothing, wear athletic shoes and bring water. You will need a sticky yoga mat for foot grip. Eligible UCare members may receive an allowance to spend toward community education classes. Members must have UCare insurance at the time of registration. Limits and restrictions may apply.
