Ageless Yoga is perfect for older adults. We will move through seated, standing, traditional and modified yoga poses with additional focus on stretching, flexibility, balance, and restorative breathing promoting stress reduction and relaxation. This class is shoe-and joint-friendly and we do not get down on mats. Dress in comfortable clothing, wear athletic shoes and bring water. You will need a sticky yoga mat for foot grip.

November 12 is National Community Education Day and Kirsten is offering a free online mini class! Cook along with Kirsten as she makes Air Fryer crispy polenta rounds with roasted seasonal vegetables AND, for a bonus recipe, roasted veggie skewers! Recipe handout provided before class and link to class recording shared afterwards. Although the class is free, pre-registration is required to receive the Zoom link and handouts.

For adults learning ASL over 5 weeks, a strong structure is built from survival signs, basic conversation, grammar foundations, simple storytelling, and real-world communication practice. Adult learners benefit most from repetition, interactive practice, visual learning, and real-life application. This beginner course is designed to give students a solid foundation in American Sign Language while building confidence and comfort using basic communication with others. This course is designed to be interactive, visual, and practical, giving adult learners a strong foundation before moving into ASL 2.

Learn the basics of researching and appraising your U.S. and foreign coins & currency. Examine 200-year-old U.S. and foreign coins. Gain knowledge about the ins and outs of where to buy and sell coins, coin authentication, and much more. Students will be asked to do internet and book research. Bring a magnifying glass if you have one. Instructor David Schlueter is a Certified Antique Appraiser.
