T-Ball develops the primary baseball skills of hitting, running, fielding and throwing. Young players will gain an understanding of the fundamental rules of baseball. The main focus of the Anoka t-ball program is to provide age appropriate skill development, social interaction, parent involvement, and non-competitive contests. WHO: Ages 4-5-6 year olds WHEN: Sunday Evenings September 13 – October 11, 2026 Practices the 1st two weeks, games the last three weeks WHERE: Wilson School (3 fields) Sorensen Park (1 field) Lincoln School (1 field) Note pick your practice site, games could be at all sites. This introductory clinic is designed for first-time riders of all ages who have never held a USA BMX membership and want to explore BMX racing. Our expert coaches teach the fundamentals of BMX, bike handling, track safety, and riding techniques in a safe, supportive, small-group environment. BMX race bikes and full-face helmets are provided. • Riders of all ages are welcome but must already be able to ride a pedal bike independently (no training wheels or assistance). • Riders must wear long sleeves, full-length pants, and closed-toe, closed-heel shoes. Extra jerseys are available to borrow if needed. • Check-in is 5:30-5:55 p.m. to complete required waivers and be fitted for a bike and helmet. Gymnasts may come from any school or district but must be in middle school or high school. Girls will work on vault, bars, beam, and floor, with specific explanations regarding Minnesota high school gymnastics event requirements and skill levels. Adams 26-27Adventures PlusStudents must be enrolled and attending in the Anoka-Hennepin independent school district in order to receive Adventures Plus child care services. (We do not offer care to out-of-district students in our program. This includes families who live within the district boundaries but attend a charter or private school.) The program provides before- and after-school care at elementary schools during the school year, and school year schedule must remain consistent from week to week for the duration of your contract. All-day child care during the summer months at select school sites for students entering kindergarten through grade six in the upcoming school year, summer schedules are pick your day with a 20 day minimum requirement. Current School year 2025-26: registration is open for limited sites that still have some capacity. Most sites have a waiting list status or have closed registration due to the amount of students on the waitlist. If your student's school is not listed please call the billing office if you have questions regarding the 2025-26 School year placement. Adaptive BeginnerAquaticsWe do not focus on diagnoses or labels. We teach swimming to students of all ages who are not served successfully by traditional group lessons, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other sensory and physical/motor learning differences. Class sizes are for two. Purpose To begin developing positive attitudes, good swimming habits and safe practices in and around the water. Prerequisites: No skill prerequisites. This class is for students who are beginner swimmers. Adult aquatic exercise: Take advantage of the unique benefits of water exercise. Adult swimming lessons: Learn to swim - no matter what your age or skill level. Summer 2026 schedule changes must be received online by May 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. for the entire summer - June through August (this includes adding and/or dropping days.) After May 1, 2026, no schedule changes will be accepted and families will be billed for the days registered regardless of attendance. Families may not drop below the 20 day minimum. If your contract changes the "rate range" your contract price per day will be adjusted to the new rate. If a withdrawal is needed after the May 1 deadline families will be required to pay the 20 day minimum part time day rate of $1,120.00. plus $35 withdrawal fees for a total of $1,155.00 per contract. Age-SpecificAge-specific classes are offered to help families learn about challenges and opportunities that come with parenting children at each age and stage, while children can interact with peers that have similar developmental skills. Each class includes parent/child time, learning activities for children and parent discussion.
